Again time for an update on the work in our future showroom in Alphen aan den Rijn. There have been a lot of developments since our last update and we would like to share them in this blog.
Level Substrate
Although we cannot place a slab of PVC floors on the ground in our showroom, it turned out to be necessary to level the subsoil. There was simply too much difference in the subsoil, so that in the long run the floors could react differently than we would like. We strive for "nothing but the best" and have therefore opted for the uncertain here, just as we advise our customers. The result of leveling has become a beautiful even surface on which we can lay our floors flat. It is always safe to enjoy the beautiful mirror that is created when leveling.
Stacking and acclimatizing floors
We always advise our customers to acclimatize the relevant floors that will be installed for at least 48 hours in the relevant room. Since we start laying the herringbone laminate floors in our office, these were first neatly stacked in "hashtag bandage" so that these beautiful floors could get used to the space they will be in.
The first floor goes in!
When preparations such as leveling our premises and acclimatising the floors to be laid had been made, our craftsmen could start laying the first floor in our office. This is a beautiful herringbone laminate floor of the brand Floer , To be exact the Floer Herringbone Laminate Matte White Oak Fastclick 1605 .
