High quality laminate flooring
The SOLZA range of laminate floors are synonymous with sustainability. We focus on realistic oak laminate floors in various unique collections of top brands such as the Dutch flooring brand Floer. In addition to the sustainable character and the unique designs, we also choose from different sizes. For example, we offer beautiful Country House laminate floors consisting of floor elements with a width of at least 32.8 cm. Unique in its kind and also water resistant to the groove! A bit too broad? In addition to these extra wide laminate floors, we supply popular herringbone laminate floors, collections with a lived-in and vintage look and realistic long parquet floors with all the advantages of laminate.
What exactly is laminate?
Laminate is a type of flooring that consists of several layers. A shelf is not only a plank, but consists of several layers that are laminated together. Hence the name laminate. The advantage of these many layers attached to each other? That you not only have the advantage of one of the types of material, but of all types of material that are incorporated into a shelf. So, in general, laminate consists of several layers. One of these layers is one made of plastic. Above that comes a layer that is generally called the 'carrier'. On top of the carrier comes a layer with an image. At SOLZA we generally focus on an oak look for our laminate. This is also the layer that gives the shelf its look and look. In order to finish the board neatly, a wear layer, also called top layer, is added on top.
What types of laminate are there?
At SOLZA we only offer quality laminate flooring. With us you will not find super cheap floors that you have to replace after two years. At SOLZA, we offer sustainability on the floor. In addition to sustainability, we also like to offer diversity within our range. After all, there must be something to choose for every taste. For this reason, we have divided our laminate floors into five types; scrap wood laminate, herringbone laminate, cities laminate, country house laminate and authentic laminate.
Scrap wood laminate
Would you rather not have herringbone laminate or another modern floor with, for example, PVC tiles? Then the scrap wood laminate from SOLZA may be exactly what you are looking for. With a look that tends towards a vintage, retro look slightly different from what everyone else puts in his or her home.
Herringbone Laminate
Herringbone laminate is a beautiful flooring option that can be used in a variety of environments. It is perfect for both traditional and modern homes and can be used in both commercial and residential environments. This type of flooring is made of various materials, including wood, vinyl and laminate. It is available in a wide range of colors and styles so you can find the perfect option for your home.
Cities Laminate
Do you want a laminate floor of real quality? Then the Cities Laminate from SOLZA may be exactly what you are looking for. The cities laminate floors all have a beautiful, and especially easy to feel, oak structure and therefore not only have a natural look, but also a natural feeling. The boards are connected to each other by a Variclick connection and a V-groove around the boards.
Country House Laminate
Are you looking for laminate with extra wide planks? Then the Landhuis Laminate in the SOLZA range may be exactly what you are looking for. These planks have an oak structure that you can both see and feel, but are also equipped with a beautiful V-groove on 4 sides of the boards which once again emphasizes the unique size of the boards.
Authentic Laminate
Are you looking for long oak planks but don't feel like maintenance? The Floer Authentic Laminate floors consist of lifelike parquet boards with the advantages of laminate! The authentic laminate from SOLZA is equipped with the Fastclick connection and you can install these laminate floors easily and quickly thanks to the various mounting options. The Authentic laminate also has a thickness of 12 mm, resulting in a more massive running sound comparable to a real parquet floor.
Is laminate suitable for every room in the house?
Whether laminate is suitable for a particular room in the house is of course very dependent on the specific room and what it will be used for. Previously, it was always assumed that laminate was only suitable for, for example, the living room or the landing. Today, however, this is no longer the case. At SOLZA we offer laminate floors of real quality and so these floors can generally take a beating. In addition, the majority of our laminate floors are also water resistant. So why not laminate flooring in the kitchen or the toilet? It's possible!
Is laminate water resistant?
As explained earlier on this page, the majority of the laminate boards within the SOLZA range are water resistant. For each product on our webshop, we indicate as clearly as possible to what extent a shelf is water resistant. Do you have any doubts about this? Do not hesitate to send us a message about this. We are happy to help. Of course, there are also conditions attached to this water resistance. It is not the intention that the SOLZA laminate will be used as the bottom of a new swimming pool (just kidding of course).
What is cutting loss and why take it into account?
When purchasing and especially assembling a laminate floor, there is always talk of cutting loss. By cutting loss we mean pieces of laminate that cannot be used because it has already been sawn. In other subjects they sometimes call this saw loss. When purchasing a laminate floor and calculating the number of square meters that you will need to be able to lay a room, it is therefore necessary to take this into account. Are you unsure about how much cutting loss you should calculate on the area to be laid by you? We generally indicate this with every product and you can of course always contact us. Better safe, than sorry.
